CES 2024: Day 1 recap and best announcements

At the moment, as at the start of every new year, CES is taking place, this electronics show taking place in Las Vegas. It is an opportunity for many brands to present new technologies and new products, available or soon to be available on the market.

Here is a summary of the announcements from yesterday, January 8, 2024, the first day of the convention.

Things to remember

• Withings BeamO 4-in-1 :the French brand unveiled the BeamO 4-in-1, an Apple Health compatible multiscope capable of recording a large number of physical data (body temperature, heart rate, breathing, blood oxygenation, among others).See the details here

• Samsung microLED :the Korean manufacturer revealed its transparent microLED screen technology

• Mui Board 2 :The company specializing in home automation Mui Board is preparing a wooden panel compatible with Matter and HomeKit, theMui Board 2

• Belkin and its Mona Lisa-style dock:Belkin, a well-known Apple accessories manufacturer, shone at the show with its Stand Pro. This is a MagSafe dock for iPhone capable of following you up to 360°. This can be useful during video conferences, but also for video recording your sports performances in front of the camera. Only the price in dollars is currently known: $179.99

• Acer Predator Z57 :57 inches diagonally and a curved panel, this is the physique of this superb new screen from Acer. For the resolution, hang on, it's 7680 x 2160

• Samsung Smart Monitor M8 :Samsung is also present in the computer screen market and has lifted the veil on the M8, a screen with a diagonal of 32″, with a design close to the iMac, supporting a resolution of 4K, but above all compatible with AirPlay 2 and integrating Smart TV features (native Apple TV+ access, for example)
