Starting with iPhone 7, the Home button is not
more physical but tactile with haptic feedback to simulate the sensation
with a physical button. This new button retains all the functionality of the
physical button, apart from one, the one allows you torebooter l’iPhone
or toenter recovery mode(DFU).
However, future owners of an iPhone 7, rest assured because there is
an alternative to force the reboot of a device that no longer responds or
still put it in DFU mode in order to restore data from an iPhone.
Instead forrebooter an iPhone 7, the user must
simultaneously press the Power on/off button and the power button
volume (the -)for a few seconds until the screen
turns off and turns back on with the Apple logo, a sign that the reboot was successful
carried out.
Regarding therecovery modewhich allows
restore data from iPhonewhich is not recognized by
iTunes or who has software problems such as frozen screen with the Apple logo,
here is the procedure to follow to switch to mode
recovery.
Plug in the iPhone with the Lightning cable, launch iTunes, turn off the iPhone,
simultaneously press the Power on/off button and the volume button
(the -) for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Continue to
hold downuntil the window applicable to the mode of
recovery is displayed.
