Concept: the fourth generation iPhone SE is still talked about

The fourth generation iPhone SE has just reappeared, with the release of a three-dimensional concept of the device. We easily recognize the design close to that of the iPhone 14 which the media have been talking about for a few weeks now, and which could actually see the light of day shortly. For the moment, it is in any case still the third generation iPhone SE which remains available in the Apple Store.

Apple's new iPhone SE is likely to come with Apple's biometric unlock technologyFace ID. This allows face recognition thanks to an algorithm rotating in conjunction with the TrueDepth sensor, installed at the front. Hence the notch, particularly prominent and clearly visible on this model while the iPhone 15s have abandoned the associated interface in favor of theDynamic Island.

A new socket for charging

The iPhone SE 4 should also change its power connectors. Indeed, Apple recently switched to USB-C with its mobiles. These then join iPads and Macs, even if the latter welcomed the return of the proprietary MagSafe socket recently.

The USB-C connection has the advantage of being reversible, just like Lightning, in fact. Other devices from the Apple firm have also been brought up to date with the standard imposed by the European Union, such as the second generation AirPods Pro. Cupertino's wireless headphones are among the best-selling in the world, despite a much more affordable price for the classic version – without active noise reduction, however.

Power at the rendezvous

If Apple does not deviate from its habits, this iPhone SE 4 should be powered by a proprietary processor already seen under the hood of the brand's other high-end phones. It could precisely be that of the iPhone 14, but this of course remains to be confirmed. The manufacturer does not reveal anything about its future products before the keynote or the official press release dedicated to this purpose.

When it comes out, what ifthe third generation iPhone SEis removed from the shelves as expected, its successor should appear as the most affordable laptop offered by Tim Cook's company.
