April 20, the keynoteSpring Loadedwill be an opportunity for Apple to unveil its latest developments to the general public. Among the products that could be announced there, AirTags are probably those that have attracted the most attention in recent months. But one computer is likely to steal the show on the big day: the iMac.
Its latest version, which dates from last year, had been treated to a 5K screen never seen before in this range. As for the coming generation, it should benefit from an in-house processor. However, we do not know if this will be theM1 chipwhich we already find in the most recent MacBook Air. It would therefore not be surprising if Apple integrated a more powerful component here instead.
Several colors approaching
Another supposed major change: the design. Several informants have in fact announced - supporting images - that the 2021 iMacs will be available in five different colors. Their hull, too, would be revisited:no more rounded format, hello to more frank lines as we are now used to among mobile articles from Cupertino. The variations of the machine would then be reminiscent offourth-generation iPad Air revealed earlier. This is what the @L0vetodream account on Twitter just suggested:

The Internet user is thus referring to the iMac G3, a historic version of the iconic one-piece computer from the Apple brand. We also notice that his post correlates the official logo ofnext Tuesday's event, whose hues are not unequivocal. You be the judge.
A lowered price?
When it was released, the Mac mini equipped with the M1 CPU surprised everyone with a lower price compared to the previous model. We can therefore estimate that Apple will offer us the same advantage with its future iMac, if indeed it is actually in the pipeline.
Let us remember, however, that this is still not official data, and that such leaks sometimes prove to be misleading. Today's source is nevertheless quite reliable most of the time, and has already been right before when other products were released.
