There are now two ways to play Fortnite on iOS

Impossible to miss as the news has shaken the world of iPhone games: Fortnite is finally back on Apple mobiles, thanks to an ingenious stratagem. This simply consists of running the title within a browser such asSafari, oversteppingban from the App Storeunder the nose of its editor.It's Microsoft to start with, with Xbox Cloud Gaming, which enabled this little feat.

Alongside him, we have just learned that another major player in gaming now offers a similar solution:Nvidia. Via its proprietary serviceGeForce Now, anyone who wanted to treat themselves to Apple's in-house chip technology now offers the possibility of playing streaming from an iPhone, a Mac, a Windows computer or even Chrome OS.

Price and compatibility

If you want to play from Safari on iOS, know that it is possible but provided you have a mobile running the version14.3minimum of the program. The same goes for tablets running iPadOS. For Macs, it will be macOS 10.11 or later with the added bonus of a connection speed of 15 Mb per second to benefit from 720p definition at 60 fps. It is also possible to display higher image quality with more bandwidth.

And what about the prices, then? This will depend on your needs. To capitalize on a basic GeForce graphics card remotely, it'sfreebut you will only be able to play for one hour straight. By paying the price however (9.99 euros per month), Nvidia offers a faster processor and up to six hours of gaming in Full HD. A package at 19.99 euros per month is also offered for eight hours of play and in4K.

The end of the judicial soap opera?

All this therefore only bodes well for Fortnite aficionados, who should no longer have to worry about knowing the developer account ofEpic Gamesbanned from the App Store.

For Tim Sweeney's studio, on the other hand, thetrialagainst Apple has certainly been judged for the first time but an appeal is underway. However, there is strong reason to believe that justice will be unable to do anything against third-party game libraries, especially when we know the criticisms from legislators concerningle sideloadingand its advantage over the competition.
