LG presents a 5-inch screen with finer resolution than the iPhone's Retina

While the iPhone and now the
new
iPad
propose a resolutionvery dense in terms of pixels
displayed
, what Apple called "Retina display", the technology continues
to progress andLGproves it with its recent announcement.

The Korean manufacturer is announcing a new screen with a size of
5 incheswho will propose a resolution which will push back
the records in terms of pixel density displayed:

Indeed this screen is capable of displaying images with a resolution of
1920 par 1080 pixels, which can be compared to the screen of
the iPhone 4/4S (960 x 640, or 326 dots per inch) and thethird
iPad generation
(2048 x 1536, or 264 dots per inch).

This is a record resolution of440 stitches per inch
which is thus achieved, in a 16/9 format.

The fact remains that it is a 5-inch screen, usable on
hybrid devices between smartphone and tablet likethe Galaxy Notepar
example.

Not sure that this type of screen will find its place in many
smartphones but it shows that running bothto the size and
resolution is indeed well underway
and that technology
continues to progress until we offer screens worthy of those of our
TV, but to put in your pocket!

On the Apple side, we imagine that thesize
of the screen could be increased for the next generation expected to
autumn
, without confirmation of course until then.
