Fans ofFor All Mankindwill be delighted. Apple TV+ has just announced the renewal of its series for a fifth season. If this formalization is not very surprising given the success of this production, we did not imagine that its universe would soon expand.
Un spin-off pour For All Mankind
The streaming platform informs us as well as a series derived fromFor All Mankindwill see the light of day. It will be headed by Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, already working on the first. In a press release released for the occasion, the apple brand's service describes this new production calledStar City:
Star City is a propulsive, paranoid thriller that takes us back to the pivotal moment of the space race, when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. But this time, we explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, engineers and intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humanity forward.

Executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi were quick to comment on this good news:“Our fascination with the Soviet space program has grown over the seasons of For All Mankind. The more we learned about this secret city in the forests outside Moscow where Soviet cosmonauts and engineers worked and lived, the more we wanted to tell the story from the other side of the space race.”.
