Fortnite vs App Store: Apple launches a new legal offensive

A legal battle has therefore begun between the two companies, a clash which is also playing out in the realm of public opinion.

Initially, American justiceagreed with Apple. A decisiondisputed by Epic Gameswho explains that his behavior was “the right thing to do” and believes that Apple is in a monopoly situation.

A hearing is scheduled for September 28

It is now up to the apple brand to launch a new offensive. She accuses the Fortnite publisher of breach of contract and commission theft. As a result, damages are being sought from Epic Games.

Epic Games' response to these accusations is scheduled for September 18, while the hearing will take place on the 28th of the same month. It is nevertheless a safe bet that the battle between the two companies will still be talked about until then.
