iOS7: our wish list! And you, what are you waiting for?

While'iOS 6.1 has just been released
to go out
without bringing any major new features, the next
big step for the OS of our iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is probably
wait for iOS 7.

Remember that expectations for this next version are high and
that for the first time, it isJony Ive
who will be in control of the user interface
which, it is hoped, should
be profoundly reworked.

Instead of playing the game of predictions, we decided to
deliver to you our main wishes for this new version and well
obviously to ask your opinion:

An in-depth revised design

Before getting to the heart of the matter, I think that many people
are waiting this yearan in-depth redesign of the interface
d’iOS
. With Jony Ive at the helm, we can think about it and also hope
say goodbye to skeuomorphism, that is to say to this mania for putting false
leather, faux wood and so on…

Widgets

If with the Apple notification center it made our mouths water in
offering two and only two widgets, we would like to go further by
imagining, why not,a real 'Widget Store'
allowing you to choose from a catalog of widgets those that could help us
try and then install them with a single click.

Better manage your applications

Apps are at the heart of iOS. However, the more they are
numerous and the more difficult it becomes to organize them. In addition, Apple imposes
the use of its own apps in many cases, something that we
would like to see change. Here are some suggestions:

  • Hide unnecessary apps: compass, purse or
yet kiosk are not useful at all. Being able to hide them would not be a
    luxe
  • Choosethe default application: whether it concerns
emails, browser or even guidance. Being able to choose the app that responds
better to your needs would be just great.
  • More practical files: like me you probably have
app folders like games 1, games 2… Imagine being able to scroll through the
apps in folders like on the home page
  • Being able to arrange application icons wherever we want on the screen
instead of them always grouping against each other
  • Close all background apps with one click

Highly anticipated new features

  • Easy access toiPhone settings:
    brightness, Bluetooth and so on
  • Quick reply from the notification bar:
When you receive a text message while using your iPhone, it displays
in a small bar at the top of the screen. Imagine that by clicking on this
bar you can respond in the blink of an eye in an interface like the one
we know about Twitter for example.
  • Interactive icons: not necessarily for everything,
but for example the time and the weather could change over time.
    daytime
  • AirDrop: be able to transfer files to the Mac
or another iOS device just like that would be extremely handy
  • Being able to record what happens on the screen. A kind ofcapture
    video screen
    In fact
  • Management on iPhone oflandscape modeeverywhere in
especially at the springboard level: Too painful to change view in
going from a GPS to emails via the springboard in the other
    sens.

More gestures…

Applications that allow you to do almost everything with gestures
type 'Clear' are a hit on the App Store. What if Apple decided to give us some
a little more?

  • The arrival of iPad gestures on the iPhone
  • Swipe left or right in Safari to move from page to page
    the other

For fun: some have been waiting for them for 6 years…

Some have been waiting for them for 6 years, but it is very likely that this
never happens:

  • SMS acknowledgments
  • Flash support in Safari

This is what we expect from iOS 7. Now the floor is yours.
What do you expect from iOS 7 and why?
