The iOS 9 Beta is available to the general public: here's how to install it on iPhone and iPad

While
the third Beta version of iOS 9 isexit the day before yesterday
with the Apple Music service, it remained reserved for developers. But this
is no longer the case.

Apple has indeed just kept its promise to release aversion of
test intended for the public in July
. This remains in Beta state
in other words,it may be buggy, not be complete and not
suitable for daily use
. It is therefore preferable to
install it on a machine other than your main machine if you have this
possibility.

All this being understood, here is how to proceed to
install it:

You must register onthis page of the site
d’Apple
if you haven't already. The program is common and covers Beta to
both iOS and OS X. For those who have already tested OS
are already registered.

Then, Apple asks to validate the test clauses (they are readable
ici
a PDF
).

At the same time, make sure you have backed up your iOS device
iTunes Help before installing the software. You must also be in
version iOS 8.3 au minimum.

Once this is done, you must declare the machine (iPhone, iPad) which will
receive the update. Click "Enroll your device" at the top of the
page :

The different operations to be carried out are explained there, in particular the
iPhone backup and archiving (this is important!)

Then it's by going, from your machine to: "https://beta.apple.com/profile"
that the operation continues. You must then log in with your username.
Usual iTunes/iCloud.

A page then offers to download and install a “profile”.

Once installed, the iOS 9 Beta 3 version should appear in
updates. This will then be done as a standard wireless update
(OTA).

If taking the certificate into account does not work the first time, a
restart may be necessary.

This public beta program also allows you to report bugs to a
Apple, do it!

Have you tested? What is your first feedback?
