Apple released version 13.3.1 of iOS and iPadOS yesterday. We sawhere how to update your iOS device. Here is the list of new features brought by this new iteration of Apple's mobile operating system, in addition to security improvements:
- fixed an issue with the Communication Limits feature which previously allowed the addition of a contact without requiring the entry of the “Screen Time” code
- addition of a setting to control the use of location services of the Ultra Wideband U1 chip,as seen here
- fixed an issue that could cause a delay before being able to edit a Deep Fusion photo taken on iPhone 11/11 Pro
- fixed bug in Mail that could force remote images to load when the "Load Remote Images" setting is disabled and another bug that could cause multiple "Cancel" dialog boxes to appear
- fixed bug causing FaceTime to use the rear ultra-wide-angle camera instead of the wide-angle camera,
- fixed bug that could cause push notifications to fail to deliver when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network
- fix for bug that could distort sounds when making phone calls in certain vehicles via CarPlay
The changes are therefore to be transcendent for this new version of iOS 13.3.1, logical, given that it is a minor update. All the same, the numerous fixes are welcome, as is the addition of the new UWB management option. Finally, nothing seems to differentiate iPadOS and iOS. iPhones and iPads therefore benefit from the same new iPadOS and iOS 13.3.1 features.
Who among you has already updated your iPad or iPhone to the new version? Do you notice any particular concerns?
