While rumors suggested that Apple would soon lift the veil on its latest version of iOS, even mentioning a release today, the Apple brand has removed the doubt. Finally, iOS 13.4 will be revealed on March 24, in exactly six days.
What's new for iOS 13.4?
Several new features will be on the agenda, including support for trackpads on the iPad. The release date of iOS 13.4 is no coincidence, as Apple has just unveiled new iPad Pros and a new iPad keyboard with trackpad. The new tablets will be delivered from March 25 and the keyboard later. This is therefore a strong argument for those who hesitate to turn to the manufacturer's new tablets.
On the other hand, iOS 13.4 should also offer a new CarKey feature, which will allow users to use their phone to unlock their car — if their vehicle is compatible. Owners of the latter will also be able to share their key with one of their contacts using iMessage. The feature is not official, but it appeared in the lines of code of the latest version of iOS, suggesting that the CarKey rollout is on the agenda.
In general, iOS 13.4 should also unveil many other features such as universal iOS and Mac purchasing, a new design for Mail, folder sharing in iCloud, new shortcuts dedicated to Shazam or even new settings options for the iOS TV app.
