Apple releases iOS 16.0.2 and fixes big bugs, including blurry photos

For a few hours, a new iOS 16 update has been available, at version number16.0.2. This new update arrives a few days after the release of iOS 16.0.1, a version of iPhone softwarereserved for iPhone 14.

iOS 16.0.2 is therefore the first update of iOS 16 available to allCompatible iPhones.

What changes for iOS 16.0.2?

Here is the list of new features and fixes spotted for this iOS 16.0.2 update:

• Security :security improvements announced as important
• Photography:fixed the shake effect bug on photos taken with some third-party apps on iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max
• Screen :fixed black screen bug. More precisely, under iOS 16.0 or 16.0.1, during the initialization of an iPhone, the screen could randomly turn completely black and make any displayed indication unreadable.
• Accessibility:fixed the bug making the VoiceOver function dysfunctional
• Tactile :correction of the bug preventing the touchscreen from working on certain iPhone X, XR and 11 in return for repair
• Copy/paste:The copy/paste functionality has become very impractical with iOS 16, since it requires permission from the user each time you paste. iOS 16.0.2 improves the situation however (according to the update's release notes), with permission notifications appearing less often.

See you inSettings > General > Software Updateand choose “Download and Install” under the iOS 16.0.2 box.

We obviously advise you to update without delay in view of the numerous bugs corrected.
