iOS 6: the iPhone and iPad compatibility table for new features

I know
know in advance that what I am going to tell you is not going to please you. Apple says
thatiOS 6 will be available in the fall and compatible with iPhone 3GS,
4 and 4S, iPad 2 and the new iPad and iPod touch 4e
generation.

Looking more closely, we realize that things are not
as simple as that and only certain models will benefit from
all the new features announced:

Some simple features do not work at all
everything about iPhone 3GS. VIP list, offline playlist or even
Shared photo streams will simply be absent from the 3GS.

The iPhone 4 and iPad 2, although more recent, will not have either
all the features and will have to do without Siri or FaceTime
3G.

However, everyone will still be able to benefitof the new App
Store, the integration of Facebook, iCloud Tab, new Safari features and
I'm going through some. Simply, owners of older devices cannot
not benefit from everything and if you think about it, it's not just at Apple
let it happen like this.

Finally, the possibility for iPhone 3GS to have iOS 6 if it does not bring
not all the features we dream of, still allows us to keep
compatibility with applications that will be released for at least a year.
Not so bad for a device that will then have4 ans.
