Like every
year Apple organizes its WWDC. Traditionally it is through a keynote that Apple
kicks off this series of conferences open to developers
and this year is no exception to the rule.
As we expected, the Apple company presented iOS which will equip our
iPhone and iPad at the end of the year. The range of laptops has also been revised
and Apple took the opportunity to officially present OS X Mountain
Lion.
Summary of what was said this evening:
Apple started with a bang by debuting Siri, who did not fail to
teasing the competition to introduce Tim Cook who made his debut on the scene
under applause.
The App Store in a few figures:
For your information, the App Store is400 million accounts, 650,000
applications, 30 billion downloads, a presence in 155
country and $5 billion returned to developers.
A refresh on Macs and a newcomer

impressive, but no Retina screen. these are logical evolutions of
those that existed until now
On the Mac side that's not all sinceApple took advantage of the conference
tonight to present the “Mac book pro Next Generation”
extremely thin (1/4 less than the current MBP), lighter and with a screen
retina.
The Retina screen has a resolution of 2880 x 1800
i.e. the best resolution on a laptop and well
obviously the Apple Apps have been updated for the occasion and Adobe
working on a new Photoshop. Imagine what this will mean for the
jeux…
To be able to power such a screen, Apple had to work on the battery
and promises a battery life of 7 hours.

OS X Mountain Lion: a little more iOS in our Macs
Then it was OSX's turn to be in the spotlight as expected
to wait for.
Let's start with iCloud, which has allowed us to connect more for almost a year
Mac and iDevice. With Mountain Lion,Messages, Reminder and
Notes appear in the clouds.
Documents in iCloud will also be more accessible
easily.A change made on iPhone will be reflected immediately
effective on Macs. THIS will be much more practical than what existed
previously.
The notification center appears on Macet
will be substantially identical to that existing today on iPhone and iPad. THE
Game Center also appears on Mac allowing multiplayer play
play with iPhones and iPads and of course Macs.
Dictation (and not Siri) is also coming to Mac and...I can't wait to be able to
test this. It will be possible to speak with third-party apps or sites
web.
Safari also had the right to its sweep and the synchronisation
tabsthat we talked about is also in the game. Of
new gestures will also appear allowing you to pass
easily move from one tab to another or even tweet.
Power Nap, a new feature will keep your Mac up to date when it
will be sleeping without you even realizing it.
OS X Mountain Lion will be released in July and will cost $19.99 for everyone.
Mac from a home.
iOS 6: the new operating system
After more than an hour of conference comes the turn of iOS 6. We are promised
more than 200 new features and Siri leads the way.
Visibly,Since last year Siri has taken up sports. The research
restaurant service has improved and Apple announces a partnership with Yelp. Siri
at the same time becomes an expert in cinema.
And guess what, all this will be available here and in 60 countries on
iPhone 4S and… on the new iPad.
Good news also sinceSiri can now launch
third-party apps! An Eyes Free feature allows
now allows Siri to invite herself into cars via a button on the
flying.
As expected Facebook is now integrated like Twitter in iOS 6 but
also in the Mac.
The phone app has been revised and now offers buttons allowing
to easily send messages if you don't want to respond right away.
It is now also possible to mute notifications to certain
moments and even program time slots during which you do not
do not want to be disturbed.
Facetime is now possible over 3G
Safari therefore offers to recover the tabs open on the computer and
Smart App Banner are appearing. Now in landscape mode, safari
will offer a full screen mode.
The photo stream can be shared with anyone you want.
From now on, it is possible to create VIPs including calls, emails, messages
will appear at the top of lists so you don't miss them. The pull to refresh does
its appearance in the mail app as well as the possibility of inserting
images.
Apple offers a loyalty card manager called Passbook.
Apple continues on the road to accessibility with Guided Access allowing
to make specific settings, but we don't know more.
Apple has confirmed the appearance of its new cards. The map app allows
also search for a restaurant via Yelp. This new app will give the status
traffic, but can also act as a GPS which will even offer you a
different route depending on traffic conditions. And guess what,
Siri is there. For example, you can ask Siri where to find
gasoline. Huge.
This new Map application will offer, like Google, 3D views.
And a few of the 200 new features:
- signatures by email account
- Un lost mode
- improved security
And all developers will have a Beta version today (the
lucky guys) and for the general public in the fall.
iOS Will be available on the iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S, on the iPad 2 and the new
iPad and iPod touch 4G.
