If each version of iOS brings its own batch of
new features, it seems that, version after version, the adoption of new
grinds is always faster and it is not the figures of iOS 7 which
will come and say the opposite.
One month after its launch,iOS 7 already occupied the ground on 2
machines on 3. 2 months later, the numbers still increasing
are finally starting to stabilize.
This is what Chitika’s latest study shows us:
iOS 7continues to break adoption records in

This is over the period from October 25 to November 18 and over 300 million

While it took almost 6 months for iOS 6 to reach 83%,

This trend is also observed among iPad owners even if the
rate is less impressive. This is partly due to the fact that the 1st iPad
generation remained on iOS 5 and it still represents 9% of iPads
in circulation.
However, these arealmost 2 out of 3 iPads which are under iOS 7 with a
63.8% adoption rate.

Apple has just confirmed on itsdeveloper pageTHE
figures mentioned above, i.e. a74% adoption rate for iOS
7.
We can also notice thatiOS 6 and iOS 7 together represent 96
%of the fleet of headed terminals.
