iOS 8: Apple wants to recognize music thanks to…Shazam

Saying that Apple is interested in music
is not really new. After changing the uses by launching iTunes
Music a few years ago, the Cupertino company is in full research
of renewal. This is howiTunes Radio
saw the light of day last year.

This time, it's not about selling music, though, but
rather to recognize it. In fact, we learned this morning thatApple
could well integrate a musical recognition function into a
next version of iOS
. And who is better placed than Shazam to do
that ?

Two obviously well-informed people told the journalist to
Bloomberg Apple's plans. According to them,Apple and Shazam would be in
working on a new music recognition function that
could arrive at the same time as iOS 8
.

This new function would be integrated into iOS like Twitter, it will not
It would therefore not necessarily be necessary to download the app. We imagine
also that Siri should be able to work in collaboration with Shazam with
new commands like ''what is this song?''.

For the moment, Apple, like Shazam, did not wish to comment
the information. Response in about a month and a half whenWWDC 14which will take place
from June 2 to 6 this year.

Waiting for,to recognize music on iPhone and
iPad
, I can only recommend these two apps:
