The star analyst of the Apple universe, Ming-Chi Kuo, whose predictions almost always turn out to be correct, has just published a new report on the demand for the new iPhones, after the opening of pre-orders this past Friday.
The analyst's estimates are largely based on the delivery times of the different models on Apple's online store. The most popular color ismidnight green for iPhone 11 Pro, and the colorsgreen and purple for the iPhone 11.
He also warns of production problems for the glass of the midnight green model, resulting in limited availability of this model at the moment. We imagine that this should improve in the coming weeks.
Currently, an order placed in Apple's online store for an iPhone 11 Pro in Midnight Green shows expected delivery between October 1 and 8.

Demand for the latest models is uneven in several countries. For example, in the United States it is the iPhone 11 Pro which wins the prize for attractiveness, while for China it is rather the iPhone 11 because of its lower price.
Unsurprisingly, Ming-Chi Kuo says demand for the new iPhones is driven by the iPhone trade-in program, as well as the ability to pay in fee-free installments.
Given the current demand for the latest iPhone models, the analyst is revising his sales estimates upwards, from 60-65 million to 70-75 million units sold in 2019.
