The iPhone 13 Pro Max shows off: will it look like this mockup?

In a new video shared on his YouTube channel, director Unbox Therapy presents what would be the current format of the iPhone 13 Pro Max currently being prepared at Apple. Coming directly from China, this one would have both the same size and the same weight as the original. It is obviously not functional, but rather aims to give us a quick overview of the device which could see the light of day next September.

Because for the moment, its development remains entirely secret. We cannot even say that it will actually be called that (iPhone 12S Pro Max is also possible). Nothing unusual here: Apple likes to maintain secrecy about products until the day of their announcement, most often during a keynote for articles of this magnitude. But sometimes also via press releases published on its official website.

Changes

In the model ofUnbox Therapy, we can first of all see the arrival of a smaller notch at the top of the front of the smartphone. Enough to guarantee a true full-screen experience for end users, many of whom have been wanting this improvement for several years now. In any case, this is not the first time that the media have relayed the information according to which Apple is working towards this effect, far from there.

Another difference with the iPhone 12 Pro Max: a much more prominent photo block, on the back this time. Looking more closely, we see that the three sensors - including the ultra-wide-angle and the telephoto lens - are not only larger in terms of diameter, but also closer to the edge of the mobile. Which also joins heresimilar rumors published upstream, even counting on an increased thicknessfurther justifying the purchase of a protective silicone case to avoid scratching the lens.

Common points with the iPhone 12 Pro Max

Despite everything, the recipe that made the previous iPhone range successful would largely be reissued when the supposed iPhone 13 Pro Max is released. We would still be entitled to a 6.7-inch screen coupled with a proprietary processor and no Lightning socket. Instead, you'll probably have to rely on wireless charging only.
