- Apple is working on new finishes for its iPhones
- Including a new red
- It would be exclusive to Pro models
At the moment, information is pouring in about the next iPhone 15. However safe or doubtful they may be, otherwise. And here is one more today which identifies certain iPhone 15 models that Apple is preparing in its laboratories for next September.
It is a question here ofiPhone 15 Pro et 15 Pro Max. We know that the Californian firm is seeking to give enough exclusive features to the Pro models to clearly differentiate them from the 15 and 15 Plus models. Thus, those interested could more easily find reasons to turn to the Pro range.
A new red
And among one of these points that could encourage you to aim more expensively, there is that offinishes. For a while now, iPhone Pro and non-Pro have been sold with a different choice of finishes. For the back-to-school 2023 models, this would also be the case, with a potential novelty: the addition of anew red colorexclusive to iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max.
The latter would be a rather dark shade of red, which Apple would call in English “Dark sienna”. In French, we could imagine the name “Dark Sienna” (do you have anything better? Tell us your suggestions in the comments). The hex code for the color would be:#410D0D.
And here's what an iPhone 15 Pro Dark Sienna could look like:

The non-Pro iPhones would not be left out in terms of new finishes. It is rumored that potential buyers could obtain them in a newrose shade(“dark pink” in English) as well as a newbleu, “light blue shade”.
The source nevertheless specifies that Apple could still modify these colors between now and the launch of production of the machines. This should begin soon, however, around spring, if the Californian firm aims to keep a usual schedule of presentation and release of iPhone this year.
What's new if not on iPhone 15?
You canfind hereall the recent rumors regarding the next iPhone line. For now, expect them all to arrive with theDynamic Island, a catchUSB-Cinstead of Lightning, but also possibly aimproved autonomy(thanks in particular to a more economical new generation OLED screen). The 15 Pro models would include anew A17 Bionic chip, (against an A16 Bionic chip for non-Pro models). Better is also expected in photos and videos of course.
So, would this red tempt you?
