New rumors about the next iPhones appear every week, even if the official presentation of them will not take place until the fall. According to this new information, Apple would increase the battery capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro Max by 5%, compared to the battery of theiPhone 15 Pro Max, to reach 4,676 mAh. On the other hand, according to the same publication, on the iPhone 16 Plus, the firm would reduce this capacity by 9%. The standard iPhone 16, on the other hand, is said to have a larger battery, by 6%, compared to the iPhone 15 battery.
In his publication, Majin Bu also indicates that the iPhone 16 Pro Max would have a different internal structure than its predecessor. And thanks to this change, this model would be equipped with a rectangular battery instead of the L-shaped battery.

As usual, the information should be considered with caution, since it does not come from an official source. Furthermore, according to the MacRumors site, Majin Bu previously published information that later turned out to be incorrect. Furthermore, it is difficult to understand why Apple would reduce the battery capacity of the iPhone 16 Plus, while it increases this capacity on the iPhone 16 and the iPhone Pro Max.
But, in any case, the firm should improve the autonomy on its next iPhones, thanks to the processors. Indeed, like every year, the models of the iPhone 16 series will probably use different processors than those used by the predecessors. And normally, this processor change leads to an improvement in energy efficiency, which improves battery life.
New chips, better heat dissipation
