On the occasion of the recent back-to-school keynote,
Apple has made numerous announcements thatWe
summarized in this articleand revealed its new iPhones.
However, the Cupertino company did not have time to talk about all the
new features including fast charging.
Indeed the technical sheet of the new iPhoneson the Apple websitementions the
presence of fast charging provided you use the right accessories,
here's howcharge iPhone 8 and iPhone X by 50% in 30
minutes.
The Cupertino company mentions on its site that it is possible to recharge
50% off an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X in 30 minutes using
a USB-C power adapterand not the adapter included in the
iPhone box.
You must use one of these three models, that of29 W, 61 W, or 87
W, which usually come with a MacBook, but also
obviouslya USB-C to Lightning cable.
Apple mentions that the fast loading tests were carried out with
iPhone discharged, but does not specify if the recharging speed is the same
for the three power adapters.
The 50% recharge in 30 minutes may only be valid
for the most powerful 87W power adapter. Reply very soon with
the availability of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
In summary, an expected new feature that is welcome, but
which however requires going back to the checkout to be able to benefit from it.
