Among the most popular PC games in recent years, League of Legends is one of the most played titles on computer, and with the rise of competitive games on mobile, publisher Riot Games wants to bring its famous title to iOS and Android.

As a reminder, League of Legends is a multi-player arena combat game or MOBA, in which teams face other teams in real time, with different objectives and in particular the destruction of the “Nexus” of the enemy base.

Specifically, Riot Games announced that a mobile version calledLeague of Legends: Wild Rift, would happenin 2020 on iOSand Android. It would be a version of League of Legends designed for touch screens, which would include a brand new map, and 40 characters to play from the PC version, with new ones being added regularly.

Riot Games also announced the arrival of League of Legends' “Teamfight Tactics” mode as an iOS game next year. This game mode allows you to face seven opponents in an open-ended war (FFA), with gameplay similar to chess.

Finally, the publisher has lifted the veil on a new fighting game with Hearthstone-style cards on iOS, called Legends of Runeterra, with well-known characters from the League of Legends universe. No date has been given for this future mobile title.
