The test was carried out on a very large number of points, ranging from the quality of contrast, to that of brightness and even color accuracy.
The latter is “really impressive” in the words of Dr. Raymond M. Soneira, the president of DisplayMate who has delivered numerous conclusions about the screen ofcet iPhone 12 Pro Max. The rare criticisms made of it report a slightly too high contrast. But Soneira acknowledged that the image quality was "magnificent, even to my experienced eyes." »
A successful anti-reflection
Another fairly important point for those who know the problems that Apple phones can encounter; this is their “mirror” effect. Anti-reflection has always been an area of improvement for Apple, but according to Soneira, the latter would be particularly successful on the iPhone 12 Pro MAx. He gives it a rating of 4.8%. One of the lowest scores he's ever given in his tests.
