The iPhone 13s could all feature 120 Hz screens

This would be a real turning point for Apple. According to information fromThe Elec, the Cupertino company would have planned to offer 120 Hz ProMotion screens for its entire new range of smartphones. Remember that there were many reports of the introduction of this technology last year without this being the case.

No unanimity on this subject

We could therefore see this 120 Hz LTPO panel arrive with a higher refresh rate on the Pro and Pro Max models. Then, opinions differ and many think that the other two models would still be equipped with a 60 Hz screen.

This is not at all the opinion ofThe Elecwhich anticipates the fact that the Apple brand could abandon its mini model for a larger 6.7-inch intermediate model. Under these conditions, Apple could take the opportunity to extend 120 Hz screens to its 6.1 and 6.7 inch models and therefore to the entire range.

Moreover, LG, which currently produces 60 Hz screens for the company, could change its production to produce 120 Hz, giving hope for a higher refresh rate for all new phones. For its part, Samsung has even already started production of the screen for this year's new iPhone, which shows that this information is quite serious.

In any case, you will still have to be patient before knowing more. The new iPhones should be unveiled next September and perhaps September 14, according to Dan Ives, analyst at Wedbush. According to the latter, four new models will be presented: the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Among the new features that these new devices should include, it is banking on a new 1 TB storage option and a LiDAR scanner which would be present on all models. So we only have a few months left to wait before being confirmed.
