The forecasts follow one another and are not alike. A few days ago we told you about this prediction ofJon Prosser. According to the tech analyst, Apple is ready to launch its new AirPods. And the latter even brought forward the month of May 2020 for the release of these wireless headphones, also sometimes called AirPod Pro Lite.
A little later,DigiTimes, a Taiwanese industry magazine specializing in mobile device market predictions, also tried its hand at the game of predictions. The media anticipates a release ofhe AirPods Pro Lite by the end of the year. The ideal launch would be the month of September, right when Apple could release its new high-end iPhone.
A new model in the Beats range could well see the light of day in 2020
A new rumor has been circulating since yesterday about this new model. According to a note from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, it would not enter mass production until the fourth quarter of 2021, or even early 2022.
The analyst also mentions in his note the case of third generation AirPods. They should enter mass production during the first half of 2021. The latter should integrateimportant internal updatesbut as far as design is concerned, we should stay fairly close to current models.
For this year 2020, Ming-Chi Kuo recognizes that the market is expecting a new AirPods model for the second half of the year. But, according to him, what is referred to as “AirPods Pro Lite”would in fact be new headphones from the Beats range.
