This new game will obviously have nothing to do with thefirst Stranger Things title offered by Netflix, moreover very successful. And its release date is currently unknown:
Stranger Things is a Netflix series set in the 1980s in a small town in America. Supernatural events are happening there, centered around a government complex where secret experiments are taking place. Stranger Things season 3 will launch onJuly 4th on Netflix.
The new game based on the series, announced by the VOD service, should allow all fans to extend the experience seen on TV. It will be afree title, integrating location elements based on Google Maps. The player's task will be to fight the evil forces coming from a parallel world, alongside other human players.
The style will be very different from the first Stranger Things game and its pixelated graphics. In the title in preparation, the design will becloser to an old-fashioned cartoon. This should help make the horror adventure a little less scary.
However, it will be necessarywait several monthsbefore you can get your hands on it. The game should in fact notnot going out until next year.
