Pour
those who regularly follow our sites iPhon.fr and VIPad.fr via the
i-nfo.fr iOS applications, the end of August was marked by a big bug
which prevented comments from being posted from the application. We have in
the rush of urgently releasing a corrective version? This contained
developments in preparation for many
weeks.
Result, the submission of comments has been corrected, the new features
were present, but this version (label 6.0) had many bugs.
Thank you to everyone who reported them to us by email, and all our
excuses!
A corrective version was immediately started and filed with Apple on
last week (thanks toScrapedchampion
for commitment and speed of correction). Result, this week, the app
i-nfo.frupdated and stableis finally

here on iPhoneet
there on iPad!

Widget for home screen and today
Find the last three articles published in a widget to add to the
notification pane and on the locked page of the iPhone or iPad. A
Pressing the article of your choice opens the app for reading.
This widget had some issues with iOS 10 initially but it's now
corrected.
Application et complication Apple Watch
News and articles from iPhon.fr/VIPad.fr are now accessible
directly from the Apple Watch. A dedicated application
allows you to findthe thread of articles, with illustrationset
the possibility offavoritein order to find his
articles to read later in the application (it's still nicer on
larger screen than on the watch!).
A "complication" is also integrated, it allows
to display the latest article on the watch face of your choice on Apple Watch.
It's for the most addicted 😉 but it also allows you to launch the app
directly from the dial by pressing the title of the last article
poster.
3D Touch everywhere
Available on iPhone 6s and 7, 3D Touch is now integrated into
the multi-level iPhone application, for compatible machines (6s and
7).
First of allon the application iconto provide access
to functions that are not immediate when you launch the app.
But 3D touch is also usablewithin the list
d’article, support allows you toview part of
l’articleand at the bottom of the screenswitch to read, or to
mark as favorite.
Finally, on the reading page of an article, astrong pressure on
the screen allows you to view the first comments.
Rework of comments
You must have noticed it, it has becomeeasier and more direct
comment on articles.
A dedicated field is presentat the bottom of the pageof the article for
quick entry. On the reading page, it becomes possible to do
refer to a reader by his nickname just by clicking on it to insert
“@lenom” and thus be able to indicate to whom we are responding.
Finally, by default ageneric identifier is created for each
user, but it can (and should) be personalizedin the
options. It's more enjoyable for those who read!
La synchro iCloud
Another major new feature of this version, thesynchronization between
machines. From iPhone to iPad and vice versa, information is
shared.
Thus, thearticles marked as readare common, but
also thefavorites
Regarding the latter,sorry for the fright when they
have disappeared, they normally havebeen re-imported with all
last update, unless you had deleted the app, in which case
unfortunately we cannot reimport them for you, there is no longer any link with
your machine...
As a result, with iCloud sync, thefavorites are stored on your
account, this means that there will no longer be this risk of loss, EXCEPT if
you delete the i-nfo.fr apps from all your machines!
Anew presentation of the home page in the format
listwas put in place.
This follows the numerous negative feedback from the previous version on
presentation in columns and images. This return to the most traditional was
heartbreaking for us and know, for those who had gotten used to it,
thatan option allows you to find the “pictorial” presentation of the
previous version.
We hope that with the choice, everyone will be able to find what they want.
But that's not all, the application is now compatiblewith
multi-tasking and split view windowing.
Videos can also be played in windowed mode "Picture in
Picture".
Save disk space
The long-running app is intended to enableonce the
downloaded articles, read them offline.
But this possibility is necessarily greedy in disk space. This one
being valuable, an option is now present tonot
store content locally. The 16 GB iPhones will undoubtedly be
cured !
Mark an article to read!
Some complained about articles read that no longer went "greyed out" like
previously. In fact, the function still exists, but it triggers
not just when supporting the article, but when we have it a little
traveledby dragging the content down, remember to
go down the page so that this is taken into account.
Another solution: press hard using 3D Touch and mark
as read.
Les bugs …
There have been some, and this is the nature of development, the application is not without
probably not bug free at the moment yet. This is of no use
unfortunately there is no point notifying them in the App Store comments because
we cannot dialogue to understand and investigate.
Prefer the contact link in the app options (or via 3D Touch on
the application icon)
We noted:
- when returning to comments, the app no longer returns to the last one
comment read - problem memorizing articles read on the iPad
