Facebook has just
launch a new version of its application, but there are big
chances are you won't be able to use it, just like me

Called Mentions, this application is intended for famous people,
to actors, musicians, etc. who wish to use the social network. More
precisely, this app is limited to those whose page is
'verified'.
As its name suggests, the app is mainly useful for seeing what is happening
says on Facebook about someone:
Not being particularly famous myself, my Facebook page is not
verified, so I was not able to test this app on a full scale. I don't see
Besides, not really what could be said about me on Facebook, but,
you never know...
If stars and other people can see what is being said about them,
the app also provides tools to interact with the public, publish
photos and videos and even organize question/answer sessions in
live.
At Facebook, they say that celebrities who were able to try the app
during its testing phase now use the social network twice as much
than before. There is no doubt that in the eyes of Facebook these luxury ambassadors deserved
indeed a VIP app…
