At the start of the week, we presented to you a
app allowing you to find AirPods lost in the area,Finder
for iPhone. The app has since been removed from the App Store by Apple for
reasonsambiguous. But fortunately, as indicated
9to5Mac, another app allows you to do the same thing, i.e. search for your
wireless headphones using Bluetooth, it's calledLightBlue
Explorer:
It is probably less precise than the last one removed from the Store, but
will be a good help to those who have planted one of the two wireless headsets. We
reminds us, Apple is replacing an earpiecepour 75
€. So it's better to try everything before returning to the store to
pay that amount.
LightBlue Explorer not only allows you totrack the
AirPods, but it also works for any device connected to
Bluetooth to iPhone. An indicator displays a sort offorce you
signaland the closer we get to the ring road, the more the latter
increase.
An app to have, particularly if you have these Apple AirPods,
especially since they don't seem to fit as well in the ears for
some.
Note however, given the short operating distance of Bluetooth, it
will not be possible to find a lost AirPodseveral dozen
of metersor further, but the app will do the trick fora
indoor research, for an earphone stuck under clothing, in a
bag or under the sleeping cat.
