No iPhone 7 this year but an iPhone 6SE?

Last Saturday, according to a
blogger and VentureBeat journalist Evan Blass, the iPhone 7 would berevealed during the week of September 12, he then
clarified during the weekend that it was thedate of
launch
, and which one could be theFriday the 16th
september
.

In parallel with Evan Blass' announcement, a report from the German site
Apfelpage suggests Apple could name the next iPhone, not iPhone 7,
moreiPhone 6 SE.

The source of the Apfelpage report is a production line in China where
packaging and labels would have been seen with the words “iPhone
6SE".

Concerning the launch date of the iPhone 7 (we will keep this name for
the moment), there is generally a delay of two weeks between the announcement and the
launch of a new iPhone, which would give a keynote on September 5 or 6,
with pre-orders opening on September 9.

Apple will confirm (or not) these dates when sending invitations
press around mid-August, and maybe even the invitation card will include
a clue regarding the name of the next iPhone.
