Right now, perhaps you already know this if you use a gasoline vehicle regularly,many gas stations lack gasoline stocke. There is a real impression of a fuel shortage, which also seems to persist over time. To make your life easier, here are our tips for quickly finding out the status of gasoline stocks at stations near your location, while keeping an eye on the price per liter of each fuel offered.
The interactive government map
The government, via the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial Sovereignty, is proposing aspecialized platform, to be found on the sitewww.prix-carburants.gouv. By going there from your iPhone, iPad or Mac, in your favorite browser, you can:
- choose the fuel of interest:diesel, SP98, SP95, SP95-E10, LPGc, E85
- specify the search location:either by selecting a department above the map, or by pressing “Geolocate me” or by directly writing the name of the municipality
- zoom :on the map, you can zoom using two fingers (spreading your fingers) to get as close as possible to the target position and see the surrounding stations
- choose a station:Stations are indicated by gas pump symbols. Tap a symbol to view station information, or tap further down “View station list”

Namely:a station which does not display any price for a fuel means that it does not offer it on site. Also avoid a station whose price was updated too long ago.Prefer those whose price was updated on the day of consultation, or even the day before.

Several applications are available in the App Store to easily find a gas station close to your location, to see the prices charged and therefore to ensure that the fuel you are looking for is still available at the time you want. Here are the ones we recommend:

Finally, if you are a Waze user (lien App Store), please note that the application offers a gas station search function. Take advantage of it, the functionality works well and takes advantage of the information provided by the large community of Waze users.
