After the interior of the house, Philips also aims to conquer the garden thanks to a new Outdoor range of its Hue connected lighting fixtures. A few months ago, the manufactureralready revealed two outdoor lights, Lily and Calla. And recently, it displayed a new light strip for gardens and lawns on its Dutch site. The “Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance LightStrip Outdoor” could therefore soon arrive on the shelves, to illuminate your terrace in all colors:
The LED strip is obviously resistant to water and dust. Unlike its indoor version, however, it does not include a support rod. However, it can still be hung on the wall using the clips and screws provided. It will also be able to find a place on the ground, along a stone path for example, thanks to its largeflexibility.
Like most Hue products, this outdoor LED strip candisplay many colors to choose from several million. It can be controlled from the smartphone, vial’app HueorHomeKit.
However, nothing indicateswhat price will this new feature be displayed?nor even when it will be available. For the moment, it simply remains displayed on the manufacturer's Dutch website.
Would you be interested in such an outdoor LED strip to complement your Philips Hue installation?
