We can see in these photos “dummy” models,l’iPhone X Pluswith its 6.5-inch OLED screen. He would have thesame dual photo sensorthan the iPhone X. These models are often used by accessories makers, for example to test future protective cases in advance.

There is also the iPhone 2018 in6.1 inch LCD version, which offersa single photo sensorat the back. Which corroboratesother recent rumorson this particular model.

Apple would have opted for this LCD model, a new display technology called Full Active LCD from the firm Japan Display. This would make it possible to offer a cheaper modelwith thin borders, but slightly thicker than OLED iPhones.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone X LCD would be sold at an estimated price of around $600-700, much cheaper than the other two. Such a price, coupled with the design of the iPhone X, will likely make this model very popular when it becomes available this fall.
