Apple should announce the date of WWDC this week possibly,as predicted in our columns, or next week. Remember that the event is expected by developers in particular, but also by all those who like to keep up to date with the next products and software from the Californian brand. Because on the first day of WWDC, traditionally, Tim Cook and his acolytes hold a conference during which we learn more about the next versions of the OS coming in the fall. And then generally, the company also revealsnew products at the same time.
This is why we become impatient from the start of spring.
While waiting, therefore, for the date of this show and therefore the date of the Apple launch event to be announced, let's try to answer the question ourselves: when will WWDC 2024 take place? We have 2 hypotheses to discover below.
When will Apple’s WWDC 2024 conference take place?
In a previous article, weattempts to define the release schedule for iOS 18. At the same time, we returned to the history of previous WWDCs to deduce the date of the 2024 edition. Here are our conclusions:
- Hypothesis 1, from June 3 to 7, 2024:with the launch keynote on June 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. PST
- Hypothesis 2, from June 10 to 14, 2024:with the keynote taking place on Monday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m. PST
Both hypotheses are valid, Apple generally targeting the first half of June for its WWDCs for several years. And we found no further evidence favoring one or the other of the two possibilities.
