Apple has just announced changes to developers
important for a new application or application update to
can be validated.
In fact, from May 1, allsubmitted applications
will need to be optimized for the 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5and
l’iPod Touch5th generation.
Another novelty which had been expected for a while, the
applications will no longer be able to use the UDID(Unique Device
Identify) from the iPhone and will have to go through the "Vendor or Advertising
identifiers" introduced with theiOS 6.
Indeed, since the arrival ofiOS 6, Apple ne
made no secret of its desire to strengthen respect for the privacy of
the user but also security following UDID leaks.
Of course, even if the applications are optimized for the 4" screen of
l’iPhone 5, they will continue to function with
the iPhone 3GS/4/4S as is already the case with many
applications on the App Store.
So, in the end, this is rather good news for
users.
