If you follow iPhon.fr a little, you have surely heard of
Week Ends BeMyApp, these development competitions
of mobile applications during which technology enthusiasts take drugs
at the café to code, design and market an application in 48 hours!
Indeed,iPhon.fr is the historic partner of
Week-Ends, sometimes present on site with our chief moderator
"OuiOui". We have often announced events, covered
on weekends and talked about the winners.
Today is the opportunity for a little look back at the applications that
came out:
One of the questions that everyone asks is: "But what
become the apps developed during the Weekends?"
The BeMyApp team makes every effort to monitor projects in the development phase.
development. On average, in an edition where 10 apps are in competition, 3
will appear on one of the different stores. The objective is to ensure
that a V1 of each app be released as quickly as possible, but the teams of
developers who are often perfectionists sometimes take a few months before
to obtain a finished product.
The freshly updated selection of apps!
yPooq: ask your friends to find out their opinion
During the BeMyApp WeekEnd organized for the 2011 telethon, Nicolas and Karl
came to present their idea for a survey application. The idea was to
be able to ask questions, anonymous or not, to your friends.
The fact that their concept was not selected did not discourage our
two friends since they managed to find a team on site (with
which they always collaborate) to develop their project. Almost a year
afterwards, a few weekends of work and a lot of modifications compared to the
initial concept, yPooq is finally on the store!
Ujoolt: localized information
During the same BEMyApp Weekend, Paul was selected among
teams competing with his idea of a social network.
Ujoolt's concept was to see information circulate on a map, a sort of
of geolocated Twitter where the broadcaster of the information would be able to
materialize the journey of shared content. Ujoolt will finish second in this
BeMyApp Weekend and, a few months later, will be one of the 12 finalists of
the LeWeb12 competition startup.
BeMyGuest: say goodbye to monotonous midday meals
The BeMyGuest application comes out of the BeMyApp “Agency” Weekend dedicated to agencies
of communication. It was also awarded an award by iPhon.fr for its social side
during this event and we had itpresented in this article.
A few weeks later, the application imagined by Camille and her team
is available on the App Store.
BeMyGuest allows business colleagues to organize their lunches
noon by designating in turn a person preparing the meal for the rest of
the team on a voluntary basis. So, if you are tired of your
sandwiches in front of your screen, open BeMyGuest and submit your recipe
favorite to your colleagues, they will reward you!
Lalilala : Draw Something in musical version
While Draw Something was a hit, Romain came to the BeMyApp Weekend
Music special with Deezer to present his renamed “Sing Something” idea
by the sequel Lalilala.
Deezer's entire music catalog is available in the app. THE
BeMyApp Weekend was a real springboard for Romain and his team because
today several people hold a full-time position on it.
