iPhone 8: the screen size of the high-end model seems to be converging

More and moredifferent sourcesagree on the fact that the firm of
Cupertino will unveil an iPhone 8 this year with aOLED screen with
5.8 inch size
and two other iPhones withLCD screen
4.7 inches and 5.5 inches
.

The Nikkei Asian Review newspaper has just published a report which
corroborates these rumorsaccording to which Apple would launch
three new iPhonesthis fall with the characteristics
described above.

However, according to a report from Digitimes, the iPhone 8 would not enternot
in production before September
instead of July as was the case
previous years for the new iPhones. This could lead to a
public launch delayed until October or later.

On the other hand, the other two iPhone “7s” would enter production in July
with probably availability shortly after the back-to-school keynote
which should take place in September.

Regarding the 5.8-inch screen of the iPhone 8, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has
mentioned in a previous note,a
area reserved for specific functions
at the bottom of the screen right side up
where the Home/Touch ID button would be located.

This would integrate new biometric recognition technology
based on ultrasound, but could also offer various functions,
shortcuts and virtual buttons, a bit like the Touch Bar on
new MacBook Pros from 2016.

According toother recent rumors, l’iPhone 8
would also offer a new all-glass design, a rounded OLED screen
on the edges, a reinforced steel chassis, a new 3D sensor with
augmented reality functions as well as classic wireless charging or even
fast.
