iPhone 8 price: a more reasonable increase than previously mentioned?

Over the past two months,
different rumors from the newspaperFast
Company
and ofDigitTimes
suggested an increase in the price of the iPhone due to components
more expensive to manufacture like the 3D Touch module for the iPhone OLED screen
8.

A price that could exceed $1,000 had been mentioned, but according to
a new analyst report from the firm UBS,the increase in price
would not be as high
that the latest ones suggested
rumors.

The analyst in question, Steve Milunovich, says that the cost of
manufacturing the iPhone 8 in 64 GB would be$70-90 more expensive
than the equivalent in the iPhone 7 Plus model with 32 GB, and therefore the final price of
the device would range between $850 and $900 for users.

In terms of prices in France and with taxes, the iPhone 7 Plus in 32 GB
costs €909, which could give a price of around €1000 or a little more
for an iPhone 8 with 64 GB. It should be kept in mind that this is a
rumor to be taken with a pinch of salt.

This analyst also believes that iPhone 8 with OLED screen would constitute
45% of iPhone sales in 2018, thanks to the news panel
features that would be offered by this model.

According to thelatest rumors, this news
features would be a new all-glass design with a metal frame
steel, and wireless charging probably by induction.

It would also include a Home/Touch ID “home” button integrated under the screen
and a 3D sensor on the front which would offer functions linked to reality
augmented, but could also allow facial recognition.
