The days go by and the rumors
around the next iPhone are only intensifying.
Since last night, we no longer talk about one or two iPhones other than Apple
could launch this year, but some see outright three including one
mysteriously called 'iPhone Math' (code name we hope...).
It is thus a Taiwanese newspaper which affirms today thatthe
Apple firm could launch an iPhone 5S this year, another iPhone
called 'Math' with a 4.8-inch screen and, icing on the cake, a final
with a 12 Megapixel sensor.
Credible or completely insane rumors, let's see what we can about them
dire :
Here according to these sources that Apple would have 3 iPhones in the drawers for this
year, among 7 new products:
- iPhone 5S: logical evolution of the version
current
- ‘iPhone Math’: an iPhone with a 4.8 screen
inches
- high-end iPhone: equipped with a photo sensor of 12
Megapixels
According to the newspaper, the first two models would be launched in
Junewhile the last one would only be launched a little before December,
for end-of-year purchases.
To be able to produce all these little people, orders for
components expected to start increasing in Marchfor a start of
production in April. At least that's what it says
BrightWire who translated the original article.
If the arrival of an iPhone 5S faster than the current version seems to us
logical and expected, it is not necessarily the same for the other two models
let's say more fanciful while remaining polite.
Let's start withl’iPhone Math’. What idea could have
go through Tim Cook's head togive such a name to the next
iPhone. According to 9to5 Mac and I must admit that I am rather
Okay, the name iPhone Math seems perfectly illogical, let's move on,
except for a calculator (and when we see that the Casio and other ITs don't have
not evolved since the last century, there would be a need), it could not
be just a project name at best.
Now let's talk about4.8 inch screen. While Apple
has just gone to 4 inches with the iPhone 5, all the apps (far from it)
are not yet compatible. The developers have already had to achieve this
adaptation, ask them to make the same effort again less than a year later
would be surprising to say the least, Apple would have jumped directly to this size
screen rather than going through a 4 inch.
Likewise, Apple has carefully studiediPhone screen
5 so that it remains usable with one handwhat would not be
clearly more possible with the size of 4.8 inches.
Let's still admit that Apple offers, only 9 months after the release of
the iPhone, a new screen resolution with therefore probably a new
design. Do you seriously think that 6 months later we could see a
new new iPhone just to boost the camera?
Let's end by saying that Apple has, in recent times, carefully moved
all its releases towards the end of the year as was the case for the iPhone 5,
the iPad 4, the iPod touch 5 in order to get closer to the holidays known to be the
best sales period of the year. Therefore, it seems difficult to
believe that Apple is going backwards there too.
So this is what we could say about these certainly attractive rumors for
some, butprobably unfounded and above all
unrealistic.
In the meantime, what do you think? And what do you want?
