The Galaxy S9 takes back the crown of best smartphone screen from the iPhone

Last November, the company DisplayMate
Technologies, a renowned specialist in screen analysis, hadreward
l’iPhone X
with the prize for the best current smartphone screen, ahead of
even Samsung devices thanks to Apple's excellent calibration work
in assembly plants.

And the big competitor Samsung has provided copies of
Galaxy S9
to DisplayMate laboratories so that they can judge the
quality of the screen of their new smartphones, well according to analyzes of
the company the latest from Samsungtakes back the crown of best
smartphone screen
to the iPhone

It seems that the Korean firm has significantly improved the
calibration of its OLED screens, because DisplayMate observed
excellent results in all measurement categories and tests.

Samsung has particularly optimized thecolor rendering
and theimage qualityof the OLED screen of the Galaxy S9 in
implementing precise calibration measures in its factories.

The Galaxy S9 also offers better visibility in sunny weather
or in bright environments thanks to its screen which holds the
brightness recordin the "Smartphones" category, this one
can go up to1130 nits.

The S9 screen achieves excellent results with new records in
of several measurement categories, and DisplayMate has judged that this is for the
moment ofbest current smartphone screen, but also
better than the screens of 4K/HDR TVs, tablets, laptops and
external screens.

We will have to wait for the release of the next iPhones at the start of the 2018 school year to
see if Apple has also made progress on the screen side which is already
excellent in iPhone X.
