Lightning headphones not responsive to commands: iOS 10 update planned

After a problem withnoise emitted by some iPhone 7, and another concerning anetwork lossafter deactivating airplane mode, here is
a new problem which affects Lightning headphones this time.

Some iPhone 7 users have noticed abug with the
EarPods remote control with Lightning jack
, namely that from time to time
otherthe remote control would stop working, preventing
users to change the volume, answer calls, or even use
Siri with this one.

Apple is aware of this problemcaused by software
which manages the Lightning port, and promises that it will quicklycorrected
in a future update of iOS 10
.

It seems that this problem occurs randomly for a few
iPhone 7 users who have the new EarPods, plus we don't know
not if the bug in question also affects other third-party headphones with jack
Lightning.

Have you also encountered this problem?
