- Ensure the eligibility of your device (onlyiPhone XR, XS et XS Maxcan take advantage of the replacement offer)
- Check that your external battery is part of the batch of products affected by the bug (it must have beenmanufactured between January and October 2019)
- Make an appointment in aApple Storeor in an authorized store such as iConcept, two years maximum after your purchase
A technical manager will then meet with you to ensure that your Smart Battery Case can be changed, and will provide you with a brand new version, fully functional this time.
Despite everything, given that the price of this accessory is 149 euros (a price all the more excessive given that the device only has 1,369 mAh of power, while an Anker external battery of 26,800 mAh costs less than 50 euros!), if you live several hundred kilometers from an Apple store,the journey may not be worth the cost…
