Noreve iPhone 4 / 4S leather case test in “perpetual couture” version

Among the brands of
iPhone and iPad protections that we have been following for a very long time, there is the
FrenchNoreve,
established in Saint Tropez, which offers many models of leather cases
for iPhone, iPad and other smartphones.

As we've talked to you a lot about the iPhone 5 lately, we don't
in no way wanted to abandon owners or recent buyers of iPhone 4
and 4S. So it is today inour series of tests
iPhone accessories, a “Perpétuelle couture” cover for iPhone 4 and 4S,
a type of flip case like we've never had the opportunity to test
until then.

Onward then for the discovery and our opinion on this quasi protection
complete for the iPhone 4 or 4S (which is
also planned for iPhone 5) :

The first contact with a Noreve product is always surprising
positively, thanks to flawless packaging: cardboard box and
protection stored in a fabric pouch.

Once out, the pouch appears, with a belt clip that can
fit in the back.

The pouch is in one piece with a flap that will protect the screen
by falling back on it. The whole thing immediately appears to be of very good quality,
impeccably stretched and stitched synthetic leather, the edges are clean and
the whole is in the chosen color, here blue. Discreet writing on
the interior and an equally discreet logo indicate the provenance. Nothing
too flashy, so much the better (for color, there's a choice eh, not all of them are
blue)!

Up close:

We can see many cutouts, they will allow the buttons,
speakers and sync port to be accessible without removing the iPhone from
the cover.

Placement is done by inserting the iPhone forcefully into the case
rigid. This is done without any particular difficulty, however, the machine
and the case then form a whole, it does not fall or slide. The part
lower which folds over the screen clips there also without mechanism
particular, just by a rigid edge play, but it holds perfectly and
is not difficult to remove.

The case has been used for almost three weeks continuously, it does not
absolutely not moved or shown signs of modifications that could make
think that either the leather would crease, tear or other sign of wear
machine or flap. It seems that everything is made to last.

months of intensive use.

In use, the presence of the flap is very reassuring, knowing that the screen does not
will not break if dropped, or scratched in a handbag is
pretty nice. In return, the thickness is therefore greater than the solutions

Be careful, some falls can nevertheless (no luck if it's the
case) reach the upper right corner of the machine, due to cutting
for the camera.

Installing the belt clip is done with the screwdriver

As for the diamond-sewn appearance, this is a specificity of the
"Perpétuelle couture" model, if you prefer a smooth appearance, there are
many other models (simple perpetual, Ambition, Exception or
Illumination), you will also have the choice of numerous colors and types of
add.

Conclusion

Here is a cover of impeccable quality and finish, which seems
made to last (but we didn't wait 6 months for the test either) and which
ensures safe protection while leaving all buttons and other
accessible functions. Pleasant and functional, it will attract those who
want a case adapted to their tastes whether in terms of colors,
finish or type of leather.

Regarding the price, it will be from 55.99 euros for this model
“Couture” and from 44.99 euros for the seamless finish
