Apple recruits designer Marc Newson, under the responsibility of Jony Ive

If further proof were needed that
design was always a big thing at Apple, here it is. The firm
at the apple has signed a significant recruitment. The company has indeed recruited the
designerMarc Newsonto the position of Senior Vice President
Design.

He will workunder the responsibility of Jony Ive, with whom
he has already had the opportunity to collaborate on creations intended to collect
funds for the fight against AIDS, under the leadership of Bono (U2). We
remembers in particularof the
“Gold Earpods” seen here

The designer who worked forFord, Nike or the airline
Qantas
and which is exhibited at MoMa will remainbased in
England
but will regularly visit Apple premises at
Cupertino.

Jony Ive about him evokesIn
Vanity Fair ici
"one of the most influential designers of his
generation
, with extraordinary talent", evoking "the pleasure
that they had already had to work together."

For his part, Marc Newson shared the admiration he had for the work
of Jony Ive and the Apple teams, evoking "his friendship with him and his pride
to join Apple"

This recruitment beyond allowing Jony Ive to have a collaborator of
choice with whom to confront and develop one's ideas, could perhaps even
lead him to find a possible replacement for the future (he
almost left Apple a few years ago
). Without forgetting that this
recruitment arrives after the arrival of several high-level profiles in the
field of fashion and luxury.

We will cite in particularAngela Ahrendts, ancient
boss of Burberry
,Paul Deneve ancien
CEO of Yves Saint Laurent
etBen Shaffer arrived from
Nike
.

Tim Cook thus proves to be capable of surrounding himself very well and Apple capable
to attract high-level profiles. We now look forward to
see what impact this recruitment policy will have on the future of
Apple products.
