Twitter wants to simplify connection to apps on Apple TV

Everyone who has experienced it knows,
logging into Apple TV apps can quickly become long and difficult,
this even with the touch remote control!

In order to make this step less tedious, Twitter has just launched
Digits, andauthentication system
simplified
that developers can integrate into their apps
tvOS.

Concretely, when identifying themselves, the user of an Apple TV app
can choose to go through Digits, whichwill display a code at 6
numbers
on the TV screen.

The user must thenenter the digital code on the portal
digits.com/appletv
from a computer, smartphone, or
tablet, to authorize a session.

Twitter specifies that it is very easy for developers to integrate
Digits to their apps with a few lines of code.

This may be a good solution while waiting for Apple to update the app
Remote (available
here on the App Store
) so that it is compatible with the new Apple TV
4.

Another possible solution for the Apple firm would be
to add support for Bluetooth keyboards to tvOSbut go out
its keyboard for each password request would undoubtedly be tedious
also. The Twitter solution could therefore have a card to play. He
We will now have to see if the developers adopt it!
