Vision Pro: these new features on the helmet can change everything

The new Vision Pro mixed reality headset will not be released until the beginning of 2024 in the United States, but Apple's teams are already working on the future. In any case, this is what we can take away from the latest Power On newsletter from Mark Gurman, our colleague atBloomberg.

To remedy this, the idea is to install a strap on the head, but this is only a temporary solution. Ultimately, the objective is indeed to lighten the weight of this device to make it much more pleasant to wear, according to insider sources.

While the competition looks set to be quite fierce with Meta and its Quest 3 (which is coming out very soon), the Cupertino company wants to offer a cheaper model in the future. Another headset more powerful than the Vision Pro is also being considered.

Finally, note that spectacle wearersare a recurring problemfor this mixed reality headset. Apple wants to simplify the process for its customers. The ultimate solution would be to offer lightweight augmented reality glasses that could be worn all day.
