September 2016: As the market begins to prove itself, Apple launches and unveils its own wireless headphones. I of course named AirPods. The success is such that the accessories very quickly become the first in the sector in terms of market share, followed in March 2019 by a second generation, with a Pro version released at the end of the same year. Since then, the success has been undeniable and continued, with recently the third version of the famous pair and even a helmettrue wireless… But some would find fault with it.
Indeed, even though we know the elite's appetite for Apple products, several celebrities already seen with their iPhone seem to have swapped their AirPods for good old wired headphones. Yes, the very ones that were your nightmare when it came to untangling them at the last minute, just before a crucial call.

Who are the culprits?
Among the differentpeopleto have recently been spotted, we can notably cite Lily-Rose Depp. The young actress was in fact photographed by James Devaney with what closely resembles Apple earbuds connected to an iPhone 12. Another model to have been seen with EarPods: Bella Hadid, whose photo this time was immortalized by Kirstin Sinclair.
Bustle, who compiled these “discoveries”, also cites Zoë Kravitz (this time with a wired headset), Jung Ho-Yeon and Hunter Schafer. But then, what could have pushed these real influencers to part with their previous wireless headphones and return to technology that we thought was outdated? There is indeed the hypothesis of a breakdown, but the phenomenon seems recurrent and lasts over time. Could this be for the sake of audio quality? Probably not, even the latency times are now respectable with AirPods. Or maybe it's just a question of style...
EarPods, a good deal
