This is news that could have remained confined to the purely domain
technical, but it has a scope which goes beyond the simple technical sphere, this
for all iPhone and iPad users. Indeed, we know it and we
regret, theiPhone OS does not support flash technology
used by the almost majority ofsites broadcasting
video, making theseunreadable on machines
d’Apple.
Steve Jobs spoke on the subject, not lettingno hope of
side of flash support, preferring himthe open format but
not yet completely standardized, and not very widespread offered by HTML
5. We remember that Apple had, when launching the iPad,
highlighted the few sites offering videos in this format.
From now on,Facebookoffers its videos in HTML5 format, which
which will not only delight users of the site, but coming from a site of
this importance in terms of traffic and visibility on the Internet, this
could alsolaunch the movement and encourage the adoption of this
technology by many other sites.
