Nokia adopts Windows Phone 7 from Microsoft for its future smartphones!

Nokia CEO
had sent an internal memo a few days ago indicating that thea
company's situation was very delicate in the mobile market
.
Caught between iPhones and Android machines, the company is
had to react. It was probably to prepare for the upcoming announcement
to take place:

Nokia and Microsoft announce that the Finn will now adopt
Windows Phone 7, l'OS
Microsoft Mobile launched last fall asplatform
main for its future smartphones
. The collaboration between
two giants will go through the reuse of Nokia's know-how in matters
digital image, a collaboration on hardware is also on the program
while Nokia will integrate Bing as a search engine in its mobiles
as well as Microsoft's advertising platform. Finally, the blind
of Nokia applications will merge with that of Microsoft.

This is an important announcement on the smartphone front: it
completes the clarification of a now very competitive landscape around three
players with a global footprint, Apple, Microsoft and Android/Google.

This is also major news for Microsoft which is playing a card
important after having failed with Windows Mobile and who finds with Nokia a
strong ally in telephony.
